Job Description: Early-Career Sales Associate (UK)

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated early-career professional to join our team in the UK, supporting client activities while gaining hands-on experience in direct sales. The role involves building client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and assisting in deal execution. Long-term, you will have the chance to manage your own client portfolio while collaborating with senior colleagues within an international organisation. This position offers a dynamic workflow with structured growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Support the team in expanding cflox’s presence in the UK
  • Win new clients alongside senior colleagues, developing your own pipeline in a targeted B2B segment
  • Engage throughout the entire sales cycle—from discovery, value positioning, and presentations to negotiations and contract closure
  • Collaborate with regional banking partners and internal departments (Sales, Partner Management, Business Development, Client & Bank Integration, Marketing, Operations, and partners)
  • Represent cflox at national and international trade fairs and industry events to grow relationships and showcase working capital solutions

Requirements & Skills

As a communicative and results-driven individual, ideal applicants bring:

  • A degree in economics, business administration, or a comparable field
  • Entry-level experience in trading, banking, or trade finance
  • An understanding of corporate banking, trade finance, working capital, and supply chain finance solutions
  • High motivation to develop commercial acumen—visibility will establish clear sales targets
  • Strong presentation skills, capable of clarifying complex topics to engage sophisticated clients
  • Energetic and meticulous personality—balanced with project-oriented tasks
  • Team player, willing to collaborate with stakeholders across departments (and our Hamburg HQ)
  • Proficiency in English (fluent speaking & writing); German is not mandatory (preferred as a plus)
