Sales Manager UK – Laboratory Furniture

CNS Worldwide Executive Search is looking for an experienced Sales Manager UK – Laboratory Furniture on behalf of a leading international manufacturer of laboratory furniture and laboratory fit-out solutions.

This is a key commercial role for a sales professional with a strong background in specification sales, extensive experience working with architects, laboratory planners, and design consultants, and proven expertise in managing complex projects from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the UK sales strategy to achieve business growth objectives.
  • Generate new business opportunities through a strong network of architects, consultants, contractors, and end users.
  • Influence project specifications by working closely with architects and design teams during the early stages of laboratory projects.
  • Manage the complete sales cycle, from prospecting and specification through quotation, negotiation, installation, and project handover.
  • Coordinate with internal design, engineering, and project management teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Build long-term relationships with key stakeholders in the pharmaceutical, life sciences, healthcare, education, and research sectors.
  • Represent the company at industry events and monitor market trends and project opportunities.

Candidate Profile

  • Proven sales experience in laboratory furniture, laboratory fit-out, or specification-led technical solutions.
  • Strong track record of working with architects and design consultants, with the ability to influence specifications and secure projects.
  • Solid project management experience, coordinating multiple stakeholders and managing complex, high-value projects.
  • Well-established network within the UK architectural, laboratory design, or construction community.
  • Excellent commercial, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and comfortable working independently.
  • Willingness to travel extensively throughout the UK.
