Who we are

Employment Hero is on a mission to make employment easier and more valuable for everyone around the world. Our Employment Operating System brings hiring, HR, payroll and benefits into an all-in-one solution. Since launching in 2014, we've grown from startup to global scale, reaching a valuation of over $2 billion and building a presence across six countries, with even more growth ahead. We now serve over 350,000 SMEs, pay more than 3 million employees, and support a growing pool of job seekers finding their next role through our platform.

The EH Way

At Employment Hero, we’re proud of our unique DNA, which we call The EH Way.

  • We are Mission First - Our Mission determines what we work on, where we invest, and where we focus. Every decision runs through a single filter: does this accelerate our Mission?
  • We are Remote First - we champion a remote environment with a preference for asynchronous communication and a high degree of autonomy
  • We are AI First - we are committed to using AI to accelerate our mission; AI is not just a tool, it’s a fundamental part of how we operate, innovate, and scale
  • We Live by Our Values - we role model our values 100% of the time
  • We Expect High Performance - we set a high standard and we’re not satisfied with being average.

This role

We're hiring a Sales Manager to lead a team of Account Executives winning new business across the UK. This isn't a caretaker role. We want someone who drives accountability into every part of the team's operating rhythm, who is highly active on the floor, and who reps can rely on without exception. Someone who is unimpeachably dependable to their team and to the number.

This is a high-growth seat. We're not hiring someone to sit at Sales Manager for three years. We're hiring someone who can prove they can run a number and a team, and then take on more.

You'll own the day-to-day performance of your AE team: coaching, forecasting, deal support and pipeline discipline. You'll be expected to know your numbers cold, hold your reps to the standard, and hold yourself to a higher one.

Your key focus areas will be:

  • Own your team's number. Not track it, own it. You are accountable for hitting monthly and quarterly targets, and you hold your AEs to the same standard
  • Run daily pipeline visibility. You should know where every deal in your team stands, not find out in a forecast call
  • Conduct regular 1:1s, pipeline reviews, forecast meetings and coaching sessions that change behaviour, not just record it
  • Recruit, onboard and develop AE talent. Build a bench, don't just fill seats
  • Build a culture where accountability is the norm, not the exception. Where "nothing to update today" is the exception, not the norm
  • Get in the deal when it matters. Support your team through complex sales cycles, tough negotiations and senior customer conversations
  • Keep Salesforce accurate. Close dates, ARR, next steps. If it's not on there properly, it's not real
  • Read the metrics and act on them before they become a problem, not after
  • Work closely with SDRs and Marketing to make sure pipeline generation and conversion both hold up
  • Partner with Enablement to sharpen methodology, messaging and product knowledge across the team
  • Feed customer insight and market feedback back to Product and Customer Success
  • Use AI tools properly to drive productivity, both your own and your team's. This isn't optional, it's how we operate now
  • Build a positive, inclusive team environment where people want to do their best work.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What Good Looks Like Here

You're proactive before you're asked. You flag risk early, not the day before it lands on the forecast call. You back your reps publicly and coach them hard privately. You're the person leadership never has to chase for an answer, because you've already got one.
