A smart and meaningful choice

Your next workplace

Holmen is a Swedish forest company with more than 3,500 employees. We create sustainable products from renewable Swedish forests and deliver them to customers around the world.

Holmen Board and Paper is one of Holmen's four business areas, where more than 2,000 employees develop and produce paperboard, containerboard and paper products used in a wide range of packaging applications.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and commercially driven Sales Manager to develop our Packaging and Containerboard business across the UK and Ireland. You will be part of the Sales Operations North Europe team, working closely with colleagues in the UK, Sweden and across Europe.

The position is home-based within the UK, preferably with good access to major transport links. Regular travel throughout the UK and Ireland is required, along with occasional international travel to customers, exhibitions and Holmen production sites. Extensive travel is expected as part of the role.

Your future challenge

As Sales Manager for Packaging and Containerboard, you will be responsible for growing Holmen's business across the UK and Ireland. The role combines managing existing customer relationships with identifying and developing new opportunities.

Working closely with colleagues in customer service, logistics, production and business development, you'll ensure customers receive excellent support while helping grow Holmen's market position.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
