Manchester – Hybrid Up to £35,000 + £45,000 OTE + Great Benefits

The Opportunity

Get Recruited are working exclusively with a customer-focused, well-established business seeking an experienced Sales Manager. The role offers a thrilling opportunity to:

  • Lead a dynamic team in a high-energy environment where customer experience and commercial performance thrive.
  • Focus on growing outbound sales activity as the business shifts strategy.
  • Mentor and develop advisors to build confidence and competence in outbound sales.
  • Do not make sales calls yourself, but guide and inspire teams to maximise opportunities.

This is ideal for candidates with experience in:

  • Sales, loyalty, retention, customer service, team leadership, or similar fields.

The Role

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead, coach, and motivate the team to hit sales, retention, and service targets.
  • Foster an outbound sales culture by boosting team confidence and engagement.
  • Teach consultative selling techniques and help advisors uncover every opportunity.
  • Monitor performance through coaching, 1-2-1 sessions, and data analysis.
  • Drive personal and team improvements using performance metrics.
  • Support and execute targeted outbound campaigns effectively.
  • Build a positive, high-performing team where accountability is encouraged.
  • Collaborate with training, quality, and operations teams to enhance processes.
  • Escalate and resolve customer issues when required.
  • Oversee workforce planning to maintain service levels.
  • Lead teams through change and continuous improvement.

Experience Required

Candidates should have:

  • Team leadership or management experience in a similar role.
  • Proven hands-on outbound sales background (B2C preferred).
  • Experience in coaching, mentoring, and driving sales performance.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • A commercial mindset, focusing on performance through guidance, not direct selling.
  • Ability to analyse data and identify growth opportunities.
  • Resilience, organisation, and influence in dynamic settings.
  • Flexibility to handle occasional weekend shifts (e.g., 1 weekend per month), traded for adjusted weekday hours.
