Sales Manager – Retail & Gym Partnerships
Location: Manchester (Hybrid/Field-Based)
Salary: £60,000 per annum + Performance Bonus
We're a fast-growing premium consumer brand operating within the health, wellness, and performance sector. As we continue to expand across the UK, we're looking for an experienced Sales Manager to drive growth across retail and gym partnerships.
The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially driven sales professional to develop and expand our presence within independent gyms, fitness chains, specialist retailers, and key retail partners across the UK.
You'll be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building long-term customer relationships, negotiating commercial agreements, and driving revenue growth while representing a premium, high-growth brand in a competitive market.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the UK sales strategy across gym, fitness, and retail channels.
- Secure new business with independent gyms, fitness groups, specialist retailers, wholesalers, and national retail accounts.
- Manage and grow existing customer relationships to maximise revenue and account performance.
- Conduct regular customer visits, account reviews, and attend relevant trade shows and industry events.
- Negotiate commercial agreements, promotional activity, and annual trading plans.
- Collaborate with the marketing and eCommerce teams to support successful product launches, campaigns, and in-store activations.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer performance to identify new commercial opportunities.
- Deliver against ambitious sales, margin, and growth targets.
- Produce accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and business updates for senior management.
- Represent the business professionally while maintaining a high level of customer service and brand standards.

About You
- Proven B2B sales experience within health & wellness, sports nutrition, FMCG, consumer goods, retail, or a related industry.
- Strong network within the UK fitness, gym, retail, or wholesale sectors would be advantageous.
- Demonstrable success in winning, developing, and managing retail and trade accounts.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Commercially focused with a proactive and results-driven approach.
- Comfortable managing your own territory and prioritising business development opportunities.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts effectively.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel throughout the UK.
