Sales Manager
Salary: up to £40,000 base // OTE £65,000
Location: Victoria, London
TGRC has partnered with a UK-based renewable energy company focused on helping homeowners and businesses transition to cleaner, more efficient power solutions. With deep roots in solar technology and sustainability, they offer tailored, end-to-end services, from initial consultation and system design through to professional installation and long-term support - making clean energy adoption straightforward and accessible across the country.
Job Summary
We are looking to hire an ambitious Renewables Sales Manager to join an expanding clean energy division. This position combines consultative selling with strong technical insight, supporting customers in adopting renewable energy solutions that lower operational costs, reduce carbon emissions, and mitigate long-term energy risk.
In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor to residential and/or commercial clients, guiding them through tailored solutions including solar PV, battery storage, heat pumps, EV charging infrastructure, and wider energy efficiency technologies.

Key Responsibilities
- Proactively identify, qualify, and convert new business opportunities through warm inbound enquiries and referral channels.
- Engage with clients to assess their energy consumption, objectives, and financial parameters.
- Develop and present bespoke renewable energy solutions aligned to each customer’s requirements.
- Produce detailed proposals, quotations, and ROI/payback analyses.
- Oversee the entire sales lifecycle, from initial engagement through to contract completion.
- Work closely with technical, installation, and operations teams to ensure accurate system specification and seamless project delivery.
- Maintain up-to-date CRM records and provide reliable sales pipeline forecasting.
- Keep abreast of renewable technologies, incentives, regulatory developments, and market trends.
- Represent the business professionally at client meetings, site surveys, and industry events.

Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in consultative sales (B2C, however B2B considered)
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to explain technical concepts in a clear, customer-friendly way
- Target-driven mindset with a focus on ethical, value-based selling
- Confidence managing objections and negotiating contracts
- Comfortable using CRM systems and digital sales tools
Experience
- Background in renewable energy, energy services, or sustainability
- Experience selling solar, batteries, heat pumps, EV charging, or related technologies
- Understanding of energy tariffs, incentives, and ideally HEMS
- Technical knowledge (not essential but advantageous)
