Sales & Marketing Manager Wates Wildscape

Wates Group currently has an exciting opportunity for a Sales & Marketing Manager to join our Wildscape team. While the role is based from our Leatherhead office, we actively encourage applications from across the UK, with flexibility.
Wates Wildscape design, deliver and maintain nature-rich habitat sites and other environmental offsets for sale to developers and others as part of the emerging natural capital market in the UK. Focused primarily on the offsite Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) market in support of the legislative requirements relating to biodiversity, our ambition is to deliver high quality restorative habitat sites is matched by our aims for business growth.
The Sales & Marketing Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth by building and scaling a high-performing sales strategy and delivering sales against a yearly target. The Manager will also play a role to grow the Wildscape brand and reputation through impactful marketing and communication activities and events.
As Our Sales & Marketing Manager, You Will
Deliver the Wildscape sales strategy, pipeline and performance by proactively generating leads, building and managing a robust sales pipeline, converting opportunities and closing deals to achieve performance targets. Establish and maintain enduring strategic relationships and partnerships by engaging with senior-level stakeholders both internally and across the sector, building trust and positioning. Develop and manage sales processes by designing and maintaining meticulous records of pipeline, opportunities and sales and producing simple and auditable reports on pipeline status and performance against targets. Support Wildscape marketing strategy through strong market insight, competitor and customer awareness. Develop and deliver internal and external events, managing the full event lifecycle from planning and promotion to delivery and post-event analysis. Influence Wildscape growth strategy by translating marketing insight and client feedback to share future service offerings and inform our land strategy.

What are we looking for?
A commercially minded communicator to help position Wates Wildscape in a fast-growing and increasingly competitive BNG market. Experienced insales and fostering trusted relationships with customers. You'll translate complex ecological and regulatory concepts into clear, practical guidance, explain our terms and timelines simply, and act as a trusted adviser on BNG and nature-based solutions. You'll engage a wide range of stakeholders from senior leaders to planners, ecologists and communities building trust through clear, credible and timely communication. You'll be our communicator across all channels, from presentations and meetings to written content and digital engagement and be able to clearly articulate what sets Wates Wildscape apart to drive market share and long-term relationships.
