Location: Bridgwater Salary: £26,500 per year (dependent on experience) Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
About the Role
At Kellands (Plant Sales) Ltd, we supply construction equipment across the South of England and require an esteemed Sales Office Assistant to join our growing Sales team.
We’re looking for a self-motivated, outgoing, and enthusiastic individual to support our operations. Full in-house training will be provided, empowering you to thrive in this dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
Here’s what this role entails:
- Delivering exceptional customer service
- Processing invoices, orders, and job cards
- Supporting inventory management
- Coordinating between departments to address administrative and operational queries
- Handling the sending/receiving of mail and packages
- Preparing business correspondence (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Managing emails, documents, and digital files
- Providing general office support
- Handling telephone inquiries and message distribution
- Organising transport logistics
- Warranty registration of equipment
- Covering reception duties as required

Required Skills & Qualifications
- GCSE-level Maths & English (minimum entry requirement)
- Expertise in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel preferred)
- Strong attention to detail
- Basic IT & computing knowledge
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Effective communication skills
- Experience in the construction equipment sector would be advantageous (but not mandatory).

Experience Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of administration experience (essential)
- 1 year in sales (desirable)
Licence Preferences:
- Valid driving licence (preferred)
