This opportunity is for our Eastern Counties Division in Cambridge to recruit a Sales Office Manager, joining the Division’s Sales team.


The Role

The Sales Office Manager will oversee sales administration, support the Sales Director/Head of Sales, and ensure a high service standard for customers.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Coordinate sales progression from reservation to legal completion, including:
    • Liaising with solicitors and collating legal documents to ensure timely delivery.
    • Achieving all targets as set.

  • Train and coach sales administration staff, ensuring:

    • Clarity on departmental responsibilities and duties.
    • High-quality work delivered by required deadlines.
  • Manage sales office coverage:

    • Ensure adequate staffing during office hours.
    • Arrange and verify knowledge-sharing for holiday cover/absences.
  • Maintain all sales systems and produce accurate, time-bound reports (weekly, monthly, and ad hoc).

  • Respond efficiently to customer telephone emails and issues.

  • Liaise with solicitors to coordinate legal documents.

  • Prepare and collate information for the board report and required sales/directorial reports.

  • Facilitate information flow between sales teams and other departments.

  • Assist the Sales Director/Head of Sales with daily operational tasks.


Experience, Qualifications & Skills

Novices welcome, but you’ll have experience/skills in:

  • Providing high-level administrative support to senior management.
  • Thriving in high-pressure, deadline-driven environments.
  • Leading administrative teams.

No formal qualifications, but relevant experience matters most.

Technical Skills

  • Past proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and adaptability to new systems.

  • Organisational and time-management expertise.
