About Growth Technology: Growth Technology was born in 1985. The company has a wide range of products, but nutrient solutions have always been the core of the business.
Growth Technology prides itself on providing exclusive products of the highest quality, accompanied with great service, delivery and support. The company has its headquarters based in a 60,000 square foot facility on Great Western Way, just outside Taunton in Somerset.
Job Overview: We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Sales Office Manager to oversee daily operations within our busy sales office. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication and a comprehensive understanding of office management. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a dynamic team, optimise administrative processes, and be a key liaison between Sales, Production, Warehousing & Finance. Previous experience in office administration, and team supervision is essential.

The ideal candidate will have the desire and motivation for continuous improvement and will have experience of change management and process improvement.
Proficiency in Sage 200 (or similar) and all elements of the Microsoft 365 packages. Strong IT literacy will be a huge help in this role.
Responsibilities
- Manage the daily operations of the sales office, ensuring smooth workflow and efficient processes
- Coordinate with other departments across the business to ensure customers needs are met in full and on time
- Have ultimate responsibility for the order to invoice cycle, with a view of continuous improvement
- Ensure high standards of phone etiquette when communicating with clients, suppliers, and internal teams
- Organise training sessions for staff on new procedures or software updates

Experience
- Proven experience in office management or administrative roles within a sales environment
- Supervising or team management experience is essential
- Familiarity with human resources practices including recruitment and staff development
- Proficiency in Sage 50 or 200 accounting software is highly advantageous
- Demonstrable clerical and organisational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with professional phone etiquette
- Strong organisational skills capable of prioritising multiple tasks effectively
- Prior experience with office software such as MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Job Type: Full-Time Salary: £30,000–£32,000 per annum Location: On-site Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday
