The Opportunity
As a Sales Operations Analyst at Weir, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting sales teams while ensuring operational excellence. Your analytical expertise will directly impact pipeline visibility, sales accuracy, and organisational efficiency. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, leverage advanced reporting tools, and be part of a company committed to innovation and sustainability.
This role will provide a dynamic blend of data-driven analysis, process improvement, and relationship-building—with the flexibility of hybrid working and minimal travel.
What You’ll Do
Salesforce Administration & Support
- Provide day-to-day support to sales teams on CRM usage, reporting, and data quality
- Manage opportunity lifecycles, updating project stages, close dates, and vendor qualifications
- Prepare Blue Sheets and Green Sheets, ensuring completeness and consistency
- Create and maintain dashboards and reports for:
- Sales forecasting
- Pipeline visibility
- Order intake tracking
- Onboard and train new sales employees on systems and workflows, ensuring data standards compliance
- Eliminate duplicate accounts and maintain accurate account records
Sales Enablement & Process Coordination
- Monitor quote activity and key deliverable schedules, including:
- Customer commitments
- Proposal timelines
- Track sales KPIs and performance dashboards for team visibility
- Contribute to pipeline forecasting by ensuring opportunity data aligns with business priorities
- Identify opportunities to standardise and improve sales processes

Sales Incentives/Bonus Programme
- Administer the EMEA sales incentives programme by:
- Tracking operator submissions
- Validating eligibility
- Coordinating approvals with line managers
- Managing payouts
- Liaise with Finance, Sales, and HR regarding the incentives programme
- Provide regulary reporting and insights on sales bonus performance
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
- Accept tasks temporarily from departing colleagues to ensure business continuity
- Work with sales users to maintain data quality and process compliance
- Collaborate with data scientists and business teams to derive actionable business insights
- Foster cross-functional teamwork to drive operational excellence
Travel & Work Arrangement
- Minimal travel required (primarily office-based with hybrid flexibility)

What You’ll Bring
Must-Have Qualifications & Experience
- Strong analytical skills with hands-on experience in handling large datasets
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (PowerQuery preferred)
- Experience using CRM systems, with a strong preference for Salesforce
- Understanding of sales cycles, pipelines, and commercial processes
Nice-to-Have Qualifications & Skills
- Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Proactive, customer-focused mindset with exceptional organisation skills
- Attention to detail in maintaining accuracy and consistency
- Collaborative approach with strong communication skills
- Experience in sales operations, sales administration, or data analysis roles
