Description

AWS Enterprise Support Strategy & Operations (ESSO) is looking for a smart, experienced, and self-directed Sales Operations Analyst with a background working with sales and field organizations to provide visibility, insights, and operations which enable leaders to drive business performance, answer critical questions for decision making, run their business, and plan for the future. This position will be part of the team that leads Strategy and Operations for Strategic Industries and EMEA Business Development and Technical Account Manager field delivery teams.

The candidate in this position will play a foundational role in supporting the stakeholder business’ strategy and operations through data analysis and operational reporting. The Sales Operations Analyst will focus on core operational activities including standard reporting, data analysis, owning day-to-day inspection and execution of operational processes. The analyst will generate and maintain regular cadenced reports including weekly, monthly, and quarterly business metrics for leadership. A critical aspect of the role involves conducting deep dives into business data to answer specific questions that enable Sales Operations Leads and sales leaders to make informed strategic decisions, as well as contributing to rhythm of business activities such as Monthly Business Reviews, quarterly/annual planning cycles, and ad-hoc reporting requests. Other operational responsibilities could include, but not be limited to territory management, headcount allocation and planning support, goal setting, and support in developing and executing the operational strategy. This role has significant opportunity for learning and growth and has the potential for broad exposure across strategy and operations, leadership, and functional partners.

The ideal candidate for this role will have strong business and financial acumen, broad technical skills (i.e. SQL, Excel, and leveraging AI toolsets), strong analytical and critical thinking skills, have sales and marketing expertise, and must be very comfortable diving deep into data. This is a hands-on position - the ideal candidate must be willing to “roll up their sleeves." The candidate will need to be comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment, and able to think big while paying careful attention to detail. The candidate must communicate effectively across both technical and non-technical teams, be a strong collaborator and partner, work with stakeholders and peers to define requirements, and drive delivery of analytical projects end to end.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
