Sales Operations Manager (Sales Strategy & Operations) – Cloud Sales Center, AWS EMEA

Within the AWS WW Commercial Sales (WWCS) organization, the Sales Strategy and Operations team drives operational excellence, field productivity, and business scaling by delivering "run the business" (RTB) processes, growth initiatives, and global growth strategies.
We are seeking a Sales Operations Manager to join our EMEA Cloud Sales Center (CSC) business. This role requires exceptional analytical skills, operational expertise, and a passion for enabling data-driven decision-making to support AWS Cloud Sales leadership and teams in EMEA.
About the Role
You’ll leverage advanced data analysis, modeling, and strategic reporting to enhance business performance across the region. Deep collaboration with Sales Leaders, policymakers, and cross-functional teams will enable you to transform complex datasets into actionable insights that shape transactional and strategic direction.
The Sales Operations Manager will conduct holistic business health analysis, develop high-impact business modeling projects, and establish automation frameworks for sales data usage. This hands-on position demands the ability to:
- Interpret and communicate data findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Optimise revenue prediction and forecasting models.
- Assess selling behaviors and pipeline stages to validate and promote adoption of best practices.
- Contribute to high-value elicitation, strategy formulation, and decisions.

Technical & Qualifications Required
- Hands-on experience with Sales CRM tools (Salesforce or similar).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data manipulation and analysis (advanced tables, pivot tables, dashboards, and automation).
- Proven experience in defining, refining, and implementing sales processes, procedures, and policies (or equivalent).
Preferable Primacy Factors (Nice-to-Haves)*
- Experience in high-growth, tech-change environments and consulting firms.
- Background in Finance, Business Strategy, Sales Operations, or Portfolio Management.
- Hampshire, UK based. Alternatives and remote working depend on Business Unit.

Key Responsibilities:
Data Analysis & Insights
- Perform deep dives into sales and business data to uncover critical trends, patterns, and insights.
- Design and deliver regular/report-on-demand business analytics aligned with leadership needs.
- Leverage advanced tools, including CRM Salesforce for layered reporting.

Strategic Planning & Reporting
- Oversee monthly/quarterly assessments, ensuring adherence to health metrics and business objectives.
- Track finance, programme attainment, and accelerators monthly.
- Ensure data integrity through automated excel, SQL, and BI dashboards for large data-Influencing activities.
Performance Metrics & Management
- Monitor critical business indicators to identify gaps and optimization possibilities.
- Offer actionable insights and track key benchmarks to refine sales strategies.
Strategic Business Guidance
- Produce detailed financial models linked to regions, geographies, and competitive targets.
- Resolve high-impact analytical problems, providing strategic recommendations to aid business growth.
