Sales Performance Analyst

Role: Sales Performance Analyst

Purpose

A Sales Performance Analyst brings deep insight into the sales process and funnel, measuring key stages—from campaigns to live—metrics, and ROI. The role involves guiding future strategy by developing campaign tracking and analysing performance data.

The incumbent transforms raw CRM and sales data into clear trends, insights, and automated dashboards using Google Data Studio, supporting revenue growth and helping stakeholders identify opportunities to exceed targets.

This role ensures the accuracy of weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc sales reports, maintains robust CRM data integrity through the standardisation of sales stages, and provides day-to-day Salesforce support to both regional users and broader MI processes.


Duties and Responsibilities

Key Accountabilities

  • Produce precise, timely monthly, quarterly, and sales-related reports using strategic metrics aligned with UK&I business goals.
  • Deliver high-value analysis through dashboards, scorecards, and commentary to uncover sales performance trends. --Understand usage for external partner governance, regulatory reporting, and commission calculations. -Provide tactical Salesforce admin support to regional users and cover for the Salesforce lead. -Design custom reports and dashboards from CRM data, offering actionable insights that drive performance through clear KPIs and commentary. -Engage collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, communicating complex data transparently to influence decision-making. -Act as a trusted business partner, empowering Sales Leaders with insight-driven decision support.

Competencies (Knowledge/Skills & Behavioural)

Technical & Analytical Skills

  • Strong background in Sales Operations or Sales Performance Analysis (minimum 2 years experience), with end-to-end knowledge of the sales funnel.
  • Proficient in Salesforce (and integrations with Pardot, Dialpad) and Google Data Studio.
  • Skilled in creating cultural, data-driven dashboards with insight—articulating trends and aligning KPIs with strategic goals.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency and Data Studio, Sheets, and Slides for report automation.

Qualifications & Experience

Formal Education

  • Graduate status or active pursuit of a degree in:
    • Business Information Systems
    • Mathematics
    • Finance
    • Data Science (or equivalent professional experience).

Technical Expertise

  • Essential: Minimum 2 years’ experience in sales operations, performance analysis, or related fields.
