We're looking for a Sales Person to join us at Civils & Lintels in Exeter
Civils & Lintels main aim is to consistently exceed our customer’s expectations, we know our people are at the heart of ensuring this happens which is why we are always on the lookout to recruit the best around. Role Overview
As a Sales Person, you will help maximise the contribution from the department through profitable sales and profit, in line with the depot business plan and Group policy and strategy. You will be expected to meet and exceed our customers’ expectations in terms of the service we provide.

Key Responsibilities
- Effectively engage and help motivate the team to achieve the department/section financial targets and meet operational needs.
- Develop sales opportunities for new, lapsed and existing customers.
- Analyse the trading report to establish current activity and communicate the outcome to the team.
- Communicate and negotiate with customers to secure the most profitable quotes and on-going business.
- Continually update your knowledge of competitor’s activities.
- Maintain an awareness of current market trends, preferred suppliers’ product ranges and develop key supplier relationships.
- Actively identify own and department employee training needs and provide on the job training, guidance and coaching to all members of the team.
