Sales Person – Huws Gray (Bow)

We’re looking for a Sales Person to join the team at our (Bow) branch. Our sales people thrive on great conversations, building lasting relationships, and driving branch success.
Responsibilities
- Building connections: Engage with customers in person, over the phone, and in the branch or yard by providing expert advice
- Creating tailored solutions: Prepare quotes, follow up on enquiries, and develop leads
- Managing essential admin: Maintain efficiency with day-to-day duties
- Offering guidance: Stay informed on up-to-date product knowledge to help customers find the best materials
- Enhancing customer experience: Maintain well-stocked, inviting displays
- Collaborating: Work across the branch and with colleagues in yard and counter sales to support team goals

Requirements
We celebrate individuality—your unique skills and personality matter as much as your experience. However, the following will help you thrive in this role:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Good computer literacy
- Previous experience in retail or sales (a plus, but not essential)
- Strong product knowledge, particularly within builders’ merchant environments
- Time recognition: Excellent timekeeping and organisation
- Communication skills: Genuine enthusiasm, active listening, and clear communication
- Detail orientation: Ability to maintain sharp attention to detail
The right candidate will also have:
- A driven and passionate attitude
- A natural focus on customer needs and delivering personalised experiences
- The ability to adapt approaches to engage effectively with each individual
