Senior Salesperson – Material Handling Equipment (Forklifts & Warehouse Trucks)
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Sales Person to drive sales and promote our full range of material handling equipment (forklifts and warehouse trucks) within our local business area. This is a fantastic opportunity to join the world’s number one Material Handling provider, offering a competitive salary, commission scheme, attractive company pension, company car, and more.
The role involves providing high-quality customer service and selling industry-leading materials handling solutions across a variety of industries. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Nurturing customer relationships – Visiting and communicating with existing clients to understand their evolving needs
- Identifying and targeting new prospects – Developing relationships with potential buyers to drive business growth
- Conducting detailed site surveys – Assessing equipment requirements and specifications
- Preparing and presenting proposals – Sharing findings with customers in meetings and presentations
- Managing admin for truck orders – Overseeing all administrative aspects of sales transactions

Requirements
We are looking for a self-motivated individual with a strong B2B sales background, preferably in business-to-business or capital equipment sales. While prior experience in materials handling sales is beneficial, we offer full product training for all successful candidates.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Strong commercial awareness and business insight
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, with a polished, professional demeanour
- Mastery of negotiation tactics and persuasive argument-building
- Exceptional planning and organisational abilities
- Fluent in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Full UK driving licence required
