Job Description

DXC Technology is strengthening its private sector sales capability and is looking for a Sales Professional to drive growth across Travel and Aviation within the Consulting & Engineering Services business.

This is a high-impact individual contributor role with ownership of a $20m TCV target. You will take full accountability for a defined portfolio of accounts across airlines, airports, and wider travel organisations, delivering growth through a combination of new client acquisition and expansion within existing accounts.

You will own the full sales lifecycle, from identifying and qualifying opportunities through to shaping solutions, leading commercial conversations, and closing deals. The role requires a balanced approach, maintaining a strong pipeline of smaller opportunities while also progressing larger, more strategic deals.

Success in this role comes from combining strong commercial execution with the ability to build trusted, long-term client relationships, positioning yourself as a credible and consistent partner to your customers.

What you will be doing

  • Lead sales activity across your Travel and Aviation territory, taking ownership of a $20m TCV target and building a clear plan to achieve it.
  • Develop a qualified, sustainable pipeline by proactively identifying opportunities, opening new client conversations, and driving momentum across all stages of the sales cycle.
  • Grow existing accounts through structured account development, cross-sell, and upsell, working closely with Customer Success Managers to build lasting client relationships and expand footprint over time.
  • Actively pursue new logos, demonstrating the ability to open doors and convert opportunities in competitive environments.
  • Lead complex deal pursuits end-to-end, shaping client-centric solutions with consulting, engineering, and practice teams across Data and AI, SAP, enterprise applications, and broader engineering services.
  • Work closely with bid, commercial, and delivery teams to construct competitive, commercially sound proposals.
  • Maintain strong deal discipline, ensuring accurate forecasting, CRM hygiene, and governance, while managing multiple opportunities in parallel across different stages of maturity.
  • Build meaningful, trusted relationships with key stakeholders in your accounts, engaging confidently with business, digital, and technical leaders, and demonstrating a clear understanding of their priorities, challenges, and investment drivers.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Your market focus

  • Your territory will span Travel and Aviation clients across the UKI region, including airlines, airports, aviation services organisations, and broader travel and hospitality businesses such as tour operators, online travel providers, and leisure groups.
  • Manage a blend of established accounts with growth potential alongside new clients, creating a balanced portfolio that supports both immediate wins and longer-term revenue growth.

What you will bring

  • A strong track record as a quota-carrying sales professional within IT services, consulting, or digital transformation environments, with consistent delivery against revenue or TCV targets.
  • Experience within Travel or Aviation is advantageous, along with an understanding of the sector’s commercial drivers and a developing network of client relationships at decision-maker level.
  • Comfortable selling across a broad portfolio, including consulting, engineering, SAP, Data and AI, and enterprise applications, and able to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles with confidence.
  • Demonstrate the ability to operate independently while working collaboratively across teams to build and win opportunities, bringing together the right expertise to deliver compelling client outcomes.

What sets you up for success

  • A results-driven sales professional who takes ownership of your number and is motivated by achieving and exceeding targets.
  • A strong relationship builder who focuses on trust, credibility, and long-term value creation rather than short-term wins.
  • Bring energy, resilience, and persistence, with the confidence to engage clients, challenge thinking where appropriate, and communicate a clear, compelling value proposition.
  • Sufficient technical understanding to be credible in client conversations, particularly around digital transformation and emerging technologies, while maintaining a strong focus on commercial outcomes.
  • Comfortable developing new opportunities from cold, maintaining momentum across long and complex sales cycles, and continuously learning and adapting in a changing market.
