A well-established HVAC company with decades of trusted experience is looking for a highly commercial Sales & Project Director with strong leadership skills to deliver strategic growth and execute relationship management of key accounts. A senior management role with an emphasis on employee and stakeholder engagement. HVAC experience and a strong knowledge of air and water movement is essential.

  • Up to £120,000 per annum basic salary dependent on experience

Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with fellow Directors to operationalise the strategic vision to maintain & develop the established business, secure new accounts and ensure that exceptional service delivery and quality growth is consistently achieved
  • Drive profitability growth through sustained process and practice compliant with business standards and values.
  • Direct and lead the directorate to maintain and grow the business through continuous high-performance delivery of strategic goals, within budget and timescales in accordance with company values and standards
  • Ensure that Newsome policy, process, and procedures are applied at all points of the employee life cycle in accordance with the People Strategy
  • As the industry expert in your specialist area, share knowledge and provide advice, guidance and coaching to colleagues.
  • Represent the Leadership Team internally and externally to engage stakeholders and promote the company according to the business vision, standards, and values
  • Lead the development and delivery of strategic accounts & ensure that quarterly review meetings take place at senior leadership level with the clients reporting on all aspects of the sales, service & hire business
  • Produce regular internal reports to share progress and plans centring on opportunities across all divisions, site visits & new contacts added to the database
  • Provide specialist support on system design & customer presentations as required to facilitate successful team delivery and development
  • Take active ownership and responsibility for your continued professional personal leadership development to remain knowledgeable of legislation and best practice relevant to your role, area of expertise and the industry

Requirements

  • Extensive technical HVAC knowledge and experience
  • Proven commercial acumen, driving profitability and turnover
  • Strategic leadership, decision making, management and performance delivery
  • Ideally educated to degree level or equivalent in engineering or business
  • Worked within customer-driven roles developing sustained client relationships
  • Full UK Driving Licence
