NumberMill is looking for a proactive Outbound Business Development Representative to join our team.
In this role, you will focus on generating new business opportunities through direct outbound prospecting.
You will research potential clients using LinkedIn, job boards, and other targeted outreach methods, engage decision-makers through cold calls, and qualify leads. Once qualified, you will hand these opportunities over to our specialists who will review the client's needs and preferences before making their recommendations to the client.

This is a full-time, office-based role, 5 days per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Outbound Prospecting: Conduct daily cold calls, tailored emails, and direct outreach to prospective clients to generate new interest.
- Lead Sourcing & Research: Use LinkedIn, online job postings, and industry databases to identify companies actively hiring or seeking recruitment and payroll solutions.
- Qualification: Engage with key decision-makers to evaluate their current setup, identify their needs, and determine if they fit our target client profile.
- Pipeline Support: Schedule qualified sales meetings and hand off fully vetted leads to the Sales team for conversion.
- Data & CRM Management: Log all activities, contact details, and prospect notes accurately in the CRM system to ensure smooth handovers.
- Target Achievement: Consistently hit daily and weekly activity targets, including call volumes, initial conversations, and booked meetings.

Requirements
- Outreach Experience: Prior experience in outbound cold-calling, lead generation, or telesales is strongly preferred.
- Research Skills: Practical knowledge of using LinkedIn, job sites, and online research tools to source decision-makers.
- Communication: Clear, confident spoken and written communication skills with a direct, professional phone manner.
- Resilience: A persistent, target-driven attitude with the ability to handle rejection and maintain high activity levels.
- Work Setup: Fully committed to working in the office 5 days per week.
