Sales Representative (New Business) – EMEA Gallery Partnerships

Location: Hybrid (3 days per week in London, UK) Department: New Business Team

About the Role

Artsy is seeking a Sales Representative to develop relationships with Galleries across the EMEA region, guiding them on digital strategy, subscription models, and expanding online presence to drive repeat revenue.

This target-oriented role sits within our New Business Team, focused on exponentially growing Artsy’s marketplace supply by converting new galleries across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. You’ll deliver a full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, while representing Artsy’s value proposition to emerging and Blue-Chip Galleries.

Why this fits Artesy’s Mission

Supporting Artsy’s goal of expanding the reach of the global art market, you’ll work to bring more art and artists into the digital ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive business development by launching and refining lead generation strategies tailored to high-value gallery prospects
  • Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets for new gallery acquisitions
  • Own the end-to-end sales pipeline from prospecting to closing, with a focus on long-term client relationships
  • Manage CRM tools (Salesforce & Outreach) to maintain a high-conversion pipeline for both inbound and outbound prospects
  • Experienced objection handling to articulate Artsy’s unique offering and address client concerns effectively
  • Collaborate with Saxo’s (Sales Development Associate) on targeting strategies, including seasonal art market trends and exhibitions
  • Leverage AI & automation to optimize sales workflows (e.g., deal flow, follow-ups, data tracking) while delivering bespoke solutions

Who this Role is For

You’re the ideal candidate if you are: ✅ Based in the UK and authorized to work commercially ✅ Available for 3 days/week in-office in London ✅ 5–10 years of professional experience in:

  • Art industry client acquisition/retention (preferably gallery sales)
  • Commercial account management or art consulting
  • Revenue-driving roles requiring deep client relationships ✅ A consultative sales professional: listen first, solve for your customers, and steer conversations toward solutions ✅ Results-driven and comfortable:
  • Crafting high-impact pitches under pressure
  • Negotiating commissional/retention sell rates
  • Managing demanding buffer VC businesses ✅ Experienced in negotiation and scope expansion ✅ Strong organization & time management, with ability to:
  • Lead regular follow-up processes
  • Close targets through adaptive techniques (e.g. – a cycle pipeline, cancelled payments after) ✅ Detail-oriented with strong written & verbal communication skills — deliverables require crisp content planning ✅ Comfortable with data-driven evidence for promotions alongside emotionally compelling storytelling ✅ A systematic sales optimist: obsessed with AI tools to reduce time on manual processes (Outreach/AI prompt engines) ✅ A language speaker (gold question): able to persuade in French, German, Italian or Spanish (not mandatory but highly advantageous)

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
