Job Title: Field Sales Representative (Worcester, MA)
Job Description
This field-based role focuses on recruiting local businesses into a new delivery partner program launching in the Worcester, MA area. You will visit prospective businesses in person, present the program, qualify interested partners, and guide them through the application process while managing your pipeline in Salesforce. You will collaborate closely with a Field Manager and other local contractors to drive sign-ups through door-to-door outreach, community organizations, and recruitment events, with uncapped commission potential for each partner you successfully convert.
Responsibilities
- Visit prospective local businesses door to door in targeted towns within approximately 90 minutes driving distance of Worcester, MA.
- Present and pitch the new delivery partner program opportunity to prospective businesses and generate strong interest in applying.
- Qualify prospective businesses based on program criteria and guide them through the full application process.
- Lead and track all outreach, follow-up, and qualification activity in Salesforce and maintain an accurate, up-to-date pipeline of prospects.
- Support the Field Manager in planning, coordinating, and hosting community recruitment events such as lunch-and-learns and town hall meetings.
- Collaborate with the Field Manager to engage local influencers and organizations, including chambers of commerce and economic development associations, to drive referrals and awareness.
- Import and update Excel spreadsheets in Salesforce on a weekly basis to ensure data accuracy and reporting integrity.
- Drive referrals through community organizations and local networks to expand the pool of prospective business partners.
- Communicate professionally and clearly with business owners, answering questions and addressing concerns about the program.
- Demonstrate a high sense of urgency by following up promptly with interested businesses and moving them efficiently through the process.
- Problem-solve in the field to help applicants overcome obstacles in the application or onboarding process.
- Manage your territory effectively, planning daily routes and schedules to maximize outreach and conversion opportunities.
- Consistently work toward and exceed recruitment goals and performance targets tied to commission and incentives.
Essential Skills
- At least 2 years of experience in sales and/or customer service.
- Proven outside or field sales experience, including door-to-door or territory sales.
- Hands-on experience using a CRM system; Salesforce experience is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated account management and lead generation capabilities.
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to build rapport quickly with business owners.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills suitable for pitching and negotiating.
- Ability to travel up to 4 hours round-trip daily within the assigned territory.
- High level of professionalism and enthusiasm for working with others in a collaborative environment.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately track and update information in multiple systems.
- Problem-solving skills to support applicants and resolve issues in the field.
- Tech-savvy, with experience working across multiple systems, spreadsheets, and technology tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Residence within or near the Worcester, MA area is highly preferred to support local territory coverage.
- Prior experience in roles that involve sales and/or negotiation with customers is a strong plus.
- Previous field sales experience is a plus, especially in door-to-door or territory-based roles.
- Comfort working independently in the field while collaborating remotely with a Field Manager and team members.
- Motivated by performance-based incentives and uncapped commission structures.
- Ability to build relationships with community organizations, chambers of commerce, and local business networks.
Work Environment
This is a primarily field-based position with regular travel across a territory centered around Worcester, MA. You will spend 3–5 days per week in the field visiting local businesses and attending community events, and you will work from home when not in the field to manage follow-ups, CRM updates, and planning. The role involves driving up to approximately 4 hours round trip daily, with mileage reimbursed at a set rate per mile. You will use tools such as Salesforce as the primary CRM and Excel for data management and weekly imports. The environment is fast-paced and goal-oriented, with uncapped commission potential per partner converted and additional monthly incentives for meeting or exceeding performance targets.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.50 - $28.50/hr.
