Company Description
Kronospan is looking for a personable, hard-working Sales Representative to develop and grow our sales of KronoBuild construction and structural panel products across builders' merchants, distributors and construction/manufacturing customers.
Kronospan is one of the world's largest manufacturers of wood-based panels. Our particleboard, MDF, OSB and plywood ranges are used every day on building sites and in manufacturing across the UK. This is a great opportunity to join a well-established, growing brand with strong product availability and the backing of a global manufacturer.
Job Description
As Sales Representative, you'll spend your time:
- Developing sales of KronoBuild construction and structural panel products (particleboard, MDF, OSB and plywood)
- Visiting and calling customers regularly to maintain and grow existing accounts
- Creating and implementing plans to win new business and target new customers UK wide
- Increasing customer base and introducing new products to the range
- Taking personal responsibility for key and target accounts
- Controlling pricing and delivery, and preparing offers for customers
- Keeping the CRM system updated with accurate records of customer visits

Qualifications
- Experience in sales, ideally within construction, builders' merchant or timber trade sectors
- Background as a Builder, Joiner, Timber Merchant or Construction professional is a strong plus
- Confident communicator, comfortable building relationships with customers face to face and by phone
- Well organised and target driven, with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and CRM systems
- Resilient, self-motivated and happy to be out on the road visiting customers
- Full, clean driving licence
