About the Role
As an Ingredion Ingredient Specialist – Protein Solutions, you will drive differentiation and business growth through high-touch technical consultancy and customer-centric solutions. If you thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment with a passion for food technology and value-based selling, this is your opportunity to shape the way people eat and live.
What You Will Do
Core Responsibilities
- Solution Selling – Provide high-touch technical consultancy and customer-centric solutions to drive differentiation and business growth
- Pipeline Management – Build and manage a strong protein pipeline, creating synergies across the Healthful Solutions portfolio and delivering profitable growth projects
- New Customer Development – Identify, target, and convert prospects through co-created solutions that grow sales and market share
- Sales Planning – Lead bottom-up planning and forecasting, shaping growth strategies and delivering category and regional targets
- Pricing & Contracts – Apply value-based pricing and manage contracts to secure sustainable, high-return business
- Marketing Support – Collaborate on regional marketing activities, including fairs, seminars, trade shows, and innovation events

What You Will Bring
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in food science/technology or a related technical field
- Equivalent experience by demonstrating proficiency in a customer-facing Value Selling/Specialties or Technical Service/Sales role
- Technical expertise in functional food and beverage ingredients, their interaction, food manufacturing processes, and food recipe design, particularly in specialty food and beverage ingredient categories
- Proven track record in sales of specialty ingredients in value-added and complex formulations, ideally with a focus on proteins and nutritional solutions
- Strong negotiation skills, stakeholder management capabilities, and experience delivering technical solutions across multiple countries and channels
- Project pipeline management experience
