Salary: £29,000 basic salary + quarterly bonus scheme (up to 30% of annual salary across the year) + uncapped annual performance bonus
Hours: Monday – Friday, 09:00 – 17:00
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Sales Executive to support the sales growth of one of our operating companies, specialising in materials testing services for the construction industry.
The business provides on-site and laboratory testing for materials including concrete, asphalt, aggregates, earthworks, and similar construction materials, supporting quality, compliance, and safety across construction projects.
This is a fast-paced, phone-based sales role, ideal for someone who enjoys speaking to people, thrives on targets, and is motivated by results. You’ll be making a high volume of outbound calls, following up on opportunities, and building relationships with construction professionals and decision-makers.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively sell materials testing services into the construction sector
- Make a high volume of outbound sales calls to new and existing customers
- Identify opportunities, qualify leads, and convert enquiries into sales
- Confidently handle objections and rejection, using them as motivation to move forward
- Follow up prospects and re-engage contacts who are “not ready right now”
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients
- Accurately log activity and progress within the CRM system
- Work towards individual and team sales targets in a structured environment

About You
- At least 1 year’s experience in a fast-paced sales role (B2B or B2C)
- Comfortable with phone-based sales and high call volumes
- Confident, chatty, and self-motivated with a proactive mindset
- Open-minded and adaptable to necessary/ beneficial structural changes.
- Resilient with a thick skin- not deterred by rejection or setbacks
- Target-driven and motivated by performance-based rewards
- Organised, persistent, and able to manage follow-ups effectively
- An interest or background in construction, engineering, or technical services is advantageous, but not essential
