About the Role

We’re looking for a resourceful Sales Specialist (part-time, 35hr) to join our Vans team based in Camden, London. You’ll play a pivotal role as one of our trailblazers on the shop floor—inspiring customers and our junior sales associates to maintain the highest standards.

How You’ll Make a Difference

Our Sales Specialists ensure our customers receive the memorable retail experience we’re known for. By collaborating with colleagues and empowering junior associates, you’ll contribute to:

  • Exceptional Customer Service: Treating every customer with respect and knowing our products inside out, then sharing this knowledge.
  • Mentorship: Acting as a buddy to new starters, guiding them through onboarding.
  • Merchandising & Uplifting: Keeping the store fully compliant with brand guidelines and aligned with current trends.
  • Operational Leadership: Supporting the management team with store openings, closings, and stockroom efficiency.

Requirements & Qualities

To excel in this role, you need:

  • A passion for customer service, creativity, and fashion/retail.
  • A proven track record of providing standout experiences under pressure.
  • At least 1+ year of experience in a fast-paced retail environment, ideally in fashion/lifestyle brands.
  • Strong written and verbal communication in English (speaking additional languages is an advantage).
  • A can-do attitude—flexibility is essential for weekend, evening, and holiday shifts when required.
