The Role

We are searching for a motivated Sales Specialist to join our Reading store. You will engage directly with customers, deeply understand their needs, and guide them toward the best solutions. This is a customer-facing, targets-driven role, playing a vital part in delivering an exceptional in-store experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service, listening and adapting to individual needs
  • Explain products, their features, and aftercare services to customers
  • Build long-term relationships to encourage repeat business
  • Meet and exceed personal and store sales targets
  • Maintain high showroom standards at all times
  • Process sales accurately via in-store POS systems
  • Assist with stock coordination, deliveries, and general store operations

Requirements

Ideal candidates will have:

  • Previous experience in retail sales, preferably in furniture or homeware
  • A confident, friendly, and approachable communication style
  • A passion for customer service and creating great experiences
  • Strong organisational skills with a keen attention to detail
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
  • Availability to work weekends and bank holidays
  • Basic IT proficiency
