Sales Support Administrator

Hi, we're Northern Gas and Power

What is the job about?

Working as part of a team in a fast-paced office environment. You will provide sales support to the sales agents. You will be responsible for processing the sales as we are first point of contact our main purpose is to make sure everything falls in line and the sales complete for it to go live with the chosen supplier. We will do this by adhering to internal quality checks in line with the supplier’s quality checks. Data inputting, dealing with agents, suppliers & customers via email and telephone.

What exactly will you do?

  • Data inputting
  • Problem solving
  • Dealing with queries from agents and managers
  • General admin-based duties
  • Vetting and processing energy contracts in support of the sales operation.
  • Adherence to internal and supplier quality and assurance checks
  • Delivery of KPI’s
  • Uphold protection of confidential customer and commercial data
  • Competent utilisation of internal systems, including CRM, communication tools, reporting and archive databases
  • Communicating with suppliers, customers, internal departments and management via email, phone, online services and face to face
  • Any other duties that are deemed appropriate from time to time

What we’re looking for

  • Previous admin experience
  • Previous customer service experience
  • Experience using Microsoft Office (Excel & Outlook)
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced, professional environment
  • Able to communicate effectively and professionally
  • Work as part of a team and independently
  • Ability to use your own initiative
  • Display excellent written and communication skills
