Sales Support Co-ordinator

We are recruiting a Sales Support Co-ordinator on a fixed-term maternity cover contract to provide extensive support to the sales team, and wider commercial function, including portfolio (buying and brand management), trade marketing and others across the business. The role includes the maintenance of accurate data and reporting on product, supplier and customer data.

What will you be doing

Assist in all areas of Sales Support work including:

  • Manage the Sales Support inbox and deal with day-to-day requests from Sales teams
  • Ensure all requests are dealt with/allocated to other team members accurately and in a timely manner
  • Creation of bespoke reports on stock/sales/customers
  • Manage customer contact database and work with Sales to ensure contact details are up to date
  • Assist senior members of the sales team with the daily management of some key accounts, including managing reserves and pricing, as well as developing and maintaining relationships directly with the customer
  • Provide support to the sales team with Pipedrive, our prospect management system
  • Ensure accuracy of Pipedrive data, including working with sales to ensure new business opportunities are up to date, uploading data, creating fields for the LW Pipedrive interface and producing Pipedrive reports
  • Assist with the transition for managing customer contacts in Pipedrive
  • Collate restaurant reviews for existing customers and prospects, and distribute to sales teams weekly
  • Research new business openings and opportunities to identify potential customers

About you

  • Advanced Excel skills – ability to use complex formulas and functions, including logical functions, lookups, and data validation
  • Comfortable manipulating large datasets to display information in a clear manner (using pivot tables and other techniques)
  • Exposure to Power BI reporting and SQL is beneficial
  • Proficient with other Microsoft packages (Outlook, Word and PowerPoint)
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Committed to a high level of customer service
  • Highly organised, flexible, self-motivated, and responsive
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Team player
  • A good understanding of the wine industry / wine knowledge (and WSET qualifications) is beneficial

  • This role is a 12 month maternity cover.
