Operations & Sales Support – Travel Industry
Remote – Homeworking (ideally Gloucestershire based) £24,000–£25,000 | Mon–Fri, 9am–5:30pm
About the Role
Love admin? Truly enjoy the satisfaction of spreadsheets, perfectly processed bookings, and inbox zeros? If you’ve got 1–2 years’ experience in travel admin or operations within a travel company, and you’re ready to grow, then this is the role for you.
This isn’t a stepping stone to sales or a gig for those seeking travel glamour. We’re looking for someone who thrives in the engine room—not just admiring the view from the deck.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answering phone queries
- Managing bookings from confirmation through to post-tour support
- Addressing (and resolving) pre-departure issues or issues arising in-resort
- Supporting the sales team with quotes and client information
- Ensuring all back-office admin functions smoothly

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
