Role Overview
We're in the middle of a key phase in the scale up of our manufacturing facilities in Peterborough and are looking for experienced and enthusiastic candidates to support us with maternity cover (12 months FTC) in our Sales Support team.
This role is essential for coordinating our confirmed orders and following through on delivery to our customers globally, requiring crucial logistics and international shipping knowledge. The role-holder will ensure the best experience for the customer every step of the way. At Gen Phoenix, we turn waste into luxury materials for a global market and this role sits right at the centre of that.

Core Responsibilities
- Owning and managing customer interactions in support of allocated Sales Business Partner
- Processing sales orders, including stock and price checking
- Planning team liaison
- Arranging shipping and despatch
- Customer invoicing
- Ensure proactive communications with customers, keeping them informed of the status of their order and ensuring any delays are communicated within a reasonable timeframe
- Work with the Finance team to set up new customers, as details are provided by the Sales team
- Develop strong working relationships with internal QA team.
- Processing sample and colour matching requests
- Attend exhibitions as required

Experience and Skills
- Either German or Spanish language skills are highly desirable.
- Good written and spoken English is essential.
- Prior experience working with a CRM system.
- Experience in a customer facing role.
- Computer literate.
Whilst this is a 12 month fixed-term maternity cover role, as we continue to grow we would be open to considering the right candidate for relevant permanent positions at the end of this fixed term period.
