Sales Support Manager - EarthmovingBiggleswade
The role contributes to the success of Liebherr – Great Britain Ltd by working closely with the Divisional Manager for Earth Moving on all aspects of the sales operation, ensuring outstanding customer service at all times and working within the Company’s key result areas; Business Performance, Customer Focus, People and Teamwork, Leadership.
Your Responsibilities
- Overseeing the day-to-day management of the Sales Support functions and staff ensuring all team members understand and deliver on targets.
- Supporting with the management of logistics providers to ensure safe and efficient movement of goods from factories / customers / depots as required.
- Monitoring performance targets, improving systems and response times and effective budget and cost management for the department.
- Liaising with the After Sales Departments and Workshops to ensure customer satisfaction levels are maintained.
- Facilitating the purchase of non-Liebherr third party items to fit machines.
- Being responsible for new machine invoice and delivery targets on a monthly basis.
- Ensuring annual stock forecasts and planning are in line with business objectives to meet stock volume.
- Liaising with finance department to ensure payments are received and processed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Working with Regional Sales Managers to understand forecasted orders and estimated delivery of machines to ensure a smooth process.
- Ensuring all spreadsheets and databases are maintained by the team to ensure accuracy for management reports.
- Maintaining workflow, SLAs, tracking of metrics and departmental reporting.
- Ensuring the team are maintaining and creating machine files.
- Contributing to the commercial strategy for the overall sales department.
- Ensuring compliance with the Company and operation policies and procedures is adhered to.
- Providing reports and updates to the Divisional Manager as requested.
- Supporting and attends trade shows as required including assisting in the setup of company presence at such events.
- Evaluating operational procedures to ensure continuous development and efficient operations within the department.
- Formulating, developing, and monitoring customer service KPIs.
- Keeping up to date with machine developments and industry trends.
- Communicating and act in a manner that promotes a positive image of the company.
- Taking responsibility for self-development and continually identifies ways of improving management and leadership style.
- Participating in training courses as requested.
