Sales Performance & Reporting Manager
Location: Milton Keynes
Employment Type: Part-time, Permanent
Working Hours: 23.5 hours per week across five days
Salary: Competitive
Working Pattern: Hybrid, with a minimum of 60% of working time based at an office or business site
Overview
Our client is seeking a proactive and analytical Sales Performance & Reporting Manager to support its commercial sales function on a part-time, permanent basis.
This role will be responsible for transforming complex sales and operational data into meaningful reporting, business insight, and practical recommendations. You will develop intuitive dashboards, monitor performance trends, and help stakeholders make informed commercial decisions.
The position offers an opportunity to improve reporting capability across a large, multi-brand organisation operating within a rapidly evolving mobility and automotive environment. You will work with colleagues across sales, operations, and wider business functions to introduce more effective data-management practices and make better use of emerging technologies.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards that provide clear visibility of sales and operational performance.
- Create and manage Excel-based reports using advanced formulas, pivot tables, Power Query, and data-analysis techniques.
- Consolidate information from multiple data sources into accurate and accessible reporting tools.
- Provide meaningful business insight and data-driven recommendations to support commercial decision-making.
- Act as the first point of contact for dealer, regional, and area performance queries.
- Ensure stakeholders receive accurate, timely, and actionable performance information.
- Monitor key sales and operational performance indicators, identifying risks, trends, and commercial opportunities.
- Highlight areas for improvement and support the development of appropriate actions.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across the wider team and associated business functions.
- Improve data-management, reporting, and analytical capability through the adoption of new technology.
- Explore opportunities to use automation and artificial intelligence to improve efficiency and reporting quality.
- Maintain high standards of data integrity, accuracy, and consistency.
- Manage multiple reporting priorities while meeting agreed deadlines.

Requirements
- Strong Power BI development and coding skills.
- Experience designing interactive dashboards and user-friendly reporting tools.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, Power Query, formulas, and data analysis.
- Experience working with multiple data sources and consolidating complex datasets.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to interpret performance data and translate findings into clear commercial recommendations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Confidence explaining data, trends, and insights to stakeholders with different levels of technical knowledge.
- High attention to detail and a strong commitment to data accuracy.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver work within agreed deadlines.
- Proactive, organised, and comfortable working with a high degree of autonomy.
- Experience using new technologies, automation, or artificial intelligence to improve business efficiency.
- Previous experience within sales reporting, commercial analysis, business intelligence, or performance management would be advantageous.
