Contract: 12 month fixed term contract
Working week: Monday to Thursday, 8.30am - 5.30pm however flexibility to be 5 days a week
Location: South Edinburgh (candidate must have a car to access the location)
Salary: £33,000 - £36,000 (dependent on experience & working week)
Start date: August
Are you highly organised, customer focused, and creative? Do you enjoy variety in your role, balancing administration, customer service, events, and social media? If so, we have an exciting opportunity to join a successful and growing business on a 12 month fixed term contract.
Our client is looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Sales Support to provide vital support to the sales team while helping deliver engaging events and social media content.
The Role
This is a varied position where no two days are the same. You'll be at the heart of the commercial team, ensuring customers receive exceptional service, supporting sales activity, coordinating events and helping maintain an active online presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing administrative and sales support including processing customer orders
- Responding to customer enquiries via phone and email
- Managing inboxes and diaries on behalf of the sales team
- Processing account applications and maintaining customer records
- Generating reports and supporting business administration
- Coordinating sample requests and resolving customer queries
- Assisting with stock reporting and documentation
- Supporting the planning and delivery of events
- Preparing event materials, displays and promotional content
- Updating and maintaining product information and marketing resources
- Creating and editing promotional materials using design software
- Managing social media channels including content creation and scheduling
- Capturing photos and videos at events for social media and marketing campaigns
- Collaborating with customers and partners to increase online engagement

About You
We're looking for someone who is:
- Exceptionally organised with strong attention to detail
- Confident communicating with customers and colleagues at all levels
- Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
- Proactive, positive and willing to get involved across different areas of the business
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel
Desirable Skills
- Experience using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design platforms
- Social media content creation and campaign management experience
- Previous experience supporting a sales or commercial team
- Event coordination experience
