Sales Surveyor – Watford

£45,000 – £50,000 OTE + Company Car

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Sales Surveyor to join our Watford branch. This is an excellent opportunity for a customer-focused and commercially minded individual to join a successful and growing company with strong earning potential.

In this role, you will:

  • Visit homeowners across Watford and surrounding areas conducting site surveys
  • Advise customers on the most suitable products for garage doors, entrance doors, and patio awnings
  • Prepare quotations based on consultations
  • All quality leads are supplied, and full product training is provided

Responsibilities

  • Conduct site surveys and customer consultations at homeowners' properties
  • Take accurate on-site measurements
  • Advise clients on appropriate products for their needs
  • Prepare and send quotations while following up on customer enquiries
  • Build strong long-term customer relationships
  • Manage appointments and workload efficiently
  • Respond to emails and customer communications
  • Maintain accurate records of surveys and quotas

Requirements

Essential

  • Previous sales, surveying, or estimating experience
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Consultative-selling approach
  • Ability to manage appointments effectively
  • Independent worker with strong time management
  • Comfortable taking measurements on-site
  • Proficiency in IT (email, Microsoft Office)
  • Full UK driving licence

Desirable

  • Experience in garage doors, construction, home improvements, or trade-related industries
  • Training in visiting customers in their homes
  • Background in quotation or technical estimate preparation

Hours

  • Monday – Friday: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Saturday (rota basis): 9:00 AM – 12:30 PM (occasional)
