Sales Surveyor
Sales Surveyor – Watford
Salary: £45,000 – £50,000 OTE + Company Car Company: Access Garage Doors

We are the largest garage door group in the South and are continually investing in growth, expansion, and customer experience across the region.
We are recruiting an **experienced and motivated Sales Surveyor to join our Watford branch. This is an excellent opportunity for a customer-focused and commercially minded individual to join a stable, growing company with strong earning potential.
About the Role
In this role, you will:
- Conduct site surveys with homeowners across Watford and surrounding areas
- Advise customers on the best suitable garage doors, entrance doors, and patio awnings
- Prepare detailed quotations for installations
- All quality leads are supplied, and full product training will be provided.

Responsibilities
- Conduct surveys and product consultations at customers’ homes
- Collect precise measurements on-site
- Provide personalised recommendations for door/awning solutions
- Compile accurate quotations and follow-up with customers
- Develop strong customer relationships with a focus on excellent service
- Efficiently manage appointments and workload
- Handle emails and customer communications promptly
- Maintain work logs and survey records

Requirements & Qualifications
Essential:
- Previous experience in sales, surveying, or estimating (trade background preferred)
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills
- Professional sales/consultative approach
- Highly organised with experience managing self-directed tasks
- Comfortable surveying, taking physical measurements, and working independently
- Good IT literacy (Microsoft Office, email systems)
- Full UK driving licence (valid for company car use)
Desirable:
- Experience in garage doors, construction, home improvements or trade industries
- Familiarity with customer visits to residences
- Prior experience preparing technical estimates or quotations
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- Saturdays: 9:00 AM – 12:30 PM (assigned on a rota basis)
