Sales Team Administrator

Location: Carlisle, Cumbria Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm

What will you be doing?

Responsibilities

As a key member of our Sales Administration team, you’ll ensure the efficient, seamless running of our sales function and enhance the customer experience. Key tasks include:

  • Liaising with internal teams to facilitate a smooth, end-to-end client journey
  • Collaborating with the rest of the Sales Administration team to complete tasks effectively
  • Confirming and processing new orders with the Sales and Projects teams
  • Raising and monitoring sales team tickets
  • Logging and tracking customer fault tickets, coordinating with sales and the service desk
  • Quality-checking documentation and CRM entries for accuracy and completeness
  • Managing reporting requirements, including deal and leasing progression
  • Overseeing departmental inboxes and allocating tasks efficiently
  • Handling incoming calls for the Sales department and directing them appropriately
  • Scheduling internal meetings and managing team room bookings
  • Raising purchase orders and completing associated actions
  • Supporting the sales team with updates to quotations and reissuing paperwork post-survey
  • Maintaining and updating customer databases and sales records
  • Assisting with new client onboarding and ensuring smooth handover to Account Management
  • Executing general administrative duties to support the wider sales function
  • Executing any additional duties as required

Required Skills & Experience

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • Exceptional organisational and workload prioritisation skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues
  • Excellent communication and listening abilities
  • Proficiency in IT skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Ability to multitask and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • High attention to detail
  • Confident numerical skills
