Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

What you'll do…
This is a hands-on leadership role covering three core areas:

Performance Management

  • Own the day-to-day performance of your team, tracking KPIs and quality standards
  • Use sales data and reporting to spot trends, identify who needs support, and make decisions
  • Run regular 1:1s and team reviews
  • Coach and develop reps to hit and exceed their targets
  • Report on team performance and hold the team accountable to Modern Milkman standards

Leading From the Front - In the Field

  • Get out on the doorstep alongside your team, every week
  • Model best practice - the pitch, the objection handling, the resilience
  • Drive a culture in the field that reflects Modern Milkman's values - genuine, sustainable, and customer-first
  • Use field time to coach in real time and hit your own sales target

Recruitment - Building the Team

  • Take ownership of growing your team from screening candidates through to onboarding
  • Run assessment days and interviews, identifying people with the right mindset for D2D
  • Build a pipeline so the team scales sustainably as targets grow

What we're looking for…

  • Based in Loughborough or within commutable distance, with a full UK driving licence (essential)
  • Proven experience in a sales leadership, supervisory, or team captain role (D2D or field sales experience strongly preferred)
  • A track record of hitting targets personally, and helping others do the same
  • Confident coaching and giving direct feedback
  • Comfortable recruiting and interviewing
  • Comfortable working with data and reports (e.g. Excel/Google Sheets or dashboards) to track performance and guide decisions.
  • Resilient, hands-on, happy to be out on the doorstep in all weather
  • Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset

Working pattern

  • Variable shifts including some weekend work, reflecting the demands of an in-field leadership role
  • Based out in the field with your team, not office-based

Interview Process
Screening Call > Hiring Manager/People Team Call > 10 Minute Pitch & 30 Minute Interview

What to expect in your first couple of weeks:
Your first two weeks will be spent across our existing sales teams in the South West (Swindon Area), getting hands-on with the operation, supporting onboarding, and learning our sales training and coaching approach directly from teams already running at a high level, so please expect to travel and over night stays. This is about learning by doing, not sitting in on presentations. You'll be out on the doors, in the morning meetings, seeing exactly how a high-performing team runs day to day. Once that's done, you'll be based full-time in Loughborough, building and leading your own team using everything you've picked up. We're looking for someone who wants to learn the business from the ground up before they lead it.
