Sales Manager
£60-65k + Double OTE | Surrey (Hybrid)
I'm working with a leading Managed IT Services provider looking to hire a Sales Manager to drive revenue growth, lead sales performance, and develop new business opportunities across its Surrey operation.
This is a leadership role responsible for managing sales activity, developing high-performing teams, and delivering ambitious growth targets. You'll work closely with leadership, technical, and operational teams to maximise sales opportunities, strengthen customer relationships, and drive long-term business growth.
This is an excellent opportunity for an established Sales Manager or someone from a Business Development Manager / Account Manager to step up!
The Role
You'll take ownership of the sales function, leading business development and account management activities while driving revenue growth and sales performance. This role combines:

You'll play a key role in expanding market presence, winning new clients, and developing existing customer relationships through a modern, data-driven sales approach.
What you'll be doing
- Lead and develop Sales and Account Management teams
- Create and execute sales plans to achieve revenue targets
- Manage and maintain a healthy sales pipeline
- Support major bids, proposals, and strategic sales opportunities
- Drive client retention, upsell, and cross-sell initiatives
- Implement data-driven sales strategies and AI-enabled tools to improve performance
- Track and report on sales performance, pipeline activity, and forecasting
- Work closely with technical and operational teams to ensure a seamless customer experience
- Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities
- Continuously improve sales processes, CRM utilisation, and team effectiveness
What they're looking for
- Proven experience in a Sales Manager, Account Manager, Business Development Manager, or similar sales leadership role
- Strong track record of delivering revenue growth and exceeding sales targets
- Experience leading and developing successful sales teams
- Background within Managed Services, IT, Technology, Telecoms, or Professional Services
- Strong new business development and account management experience
- Experience using CRM platforms, sales reporting, and pipeline management tools
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on sales leadership
