About us:

It’s our mission to create the most engaged, diverse and healthy workforce. You will be part of the Venquis Management team steering this mission and as such you will play an important part in driving the culture and growth of the business. You will be responsible for assisting in the hiring, managing, and developing the individuals in your pod.

We are looking for a dynamic manager to lead by example and act as champion for Venquis values. You will lead by example with a team between 3-5 people and be responsible for the development of the team from trainee to consultant level.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead by example
  • Build and engage relevant client pools.
  • Book/ attend client meetings.
  • Chase relevant leads.
  • Urgent & driven client lifecycle management owning the process from registration/screening to ensure successful placement of candidate in a live job or a speculative approach to client.
  • Use of influence and persuasion to close opportunities
  • Support with Business development.
  • Cold calling, building out client pipelines, attending and arrange client meetings.
  • Create/ sell and attend pitch meetings to win new business.
  • Independently resolve objections and issues throughout the candidate journey, pushing back on candidates when appropriate.
  • Demonstrate high level of skill in questioning candidates and obtaining quality information from them.

Management:

  • Create a high-performing team through your clear direction, vision and guidance
  • Maintain quality standards – You are responsible for enforcing quality standards, set by Venquis
  • Coach team members on successful candidate management & engagement.
  • Advise team members on how to use influence and persuasion to close opportunities
  • Monitor progress of mentored staff, identify development areas & help them improve their performance to develop to the next level to report back to Team Leader.
  • Work with team to improve industry knowledge, leveraging internal knowledge and training opportunities
  • Actively communicate a engaged, driven & motivated culture
  • Ensuring compliance with organisational policy and procedures related to Pod Lead responsibilities (sickness, holiday, absences etc…)
  • Ensure the management scheduling of work with sickness and holidays within your Pod.
