Sales Team Manager

Sales Team Manager – Sports & Hospitality Growth Opportunity

Location: Manchester (Office-based) | Salary: £35,000–£45,000 (+ uncapped commission)

What You’ll Do

You’ll be a player-manager—balancing sales execution with team development. Daily tasks include:

  • People Leadership:
    • Recruit, coach, and develop a sales team of New Business Executives
    • Design and deliver engaging onboarding programmes and continuous sales training
    • Conduct regular one-to-ones, performance reviews, and motivational coaching

What We’re Looking For

Must-have experience:

  • Proven track record in leading outbound sales teams
  • Strong business development and new business generation background
  • History of exceeding sales targets
  • Coaching skills—proven ability to develop and motivate sales talent
  • Expert-level communication, negotiation, and closing

Personality & mindset:

  • Ambition to take risks and drive results
  • Resilience to handle rejection and high-pressure sales environments
  • Commercial acumen with a natural grasp of market dynamics

Bonus points:

  • Experience in sports, hospitality, events, or luxury sectors
  • Experience in relationship-led sales environments
  • History of building sales functions or developing junior teams
