Sales Team Manager – Sports & Hospitality Growth Opportunity
Location: Manchester (Office-based) | Salary: £35,000–£45,000 (+ uncapped commission)

What You’ll Do
You’ll be a player-manager—balancing sales execution with team development. Daily tasks include:
- People Leadership:
- Recruit, coach, and develop a sales team of New Business Executives
- Design and deliver engaging onboarding programmes and continuous sales training
- Conduct regular one-to-ones, performance reviews, and motivational coaching

Sales Execution:
- Lead your own pipeline by prospecting and closing high-value deals
- Build key relationships with senior decision-makers
- Monitor and optimise team KPIs, conversion rates, and revenue growth

Strategy & Culture:
- Create a high-energy, competitive sales culture where collaboration drives success
- Work with leadership to refine sales processes and outbound strategies
What We’re Looking For
Must-have experience:
- Proven track record in leading outbound sales teams
- Strong business development and new business generation background
- History of exceeding sales targets
- Coaching skills—proven ability to develop and motivate sales talent
- Expert-level communication, negotiation, and closing
Personality & mindset:
- Ambition to take risks and drive results
- Resilience to handle rejection and high-pressure sales environments
- Commercial acumen with a natural grasp of market dynamics
Bonus points:
- Experience in sports, hospitality, events, or luxury sectors
- Experience in relationship-led sales environments
- History of building sales functions or developing junior teams
