HYBRID TO SHEFFIELD OFFICE - 3 DAYS IN THE OFFICE 2 DAYS FROM HOME

The Role:

As Sales Trainer, you’ll play a key role in developing our sales teams and driving performance across the business.

Our sales consultants manage the full sales cycle, from initial prospecting and qualification through to consultation, solution selling, negotiation, and closing. This means they need the skills, confidence, and commercial understanding to build relationships, uncover client needs, overcome objections, and deliver successful outcomes.

Your role will be to bring out the best in our people by creating engaging training, coaching in real-time, and turning successful sales behaviours into repeatable processes.

You’ll work closely with sales leadership to understand performance trends, identify opportunities, and deliver training that creates measurable improvements.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Designing and delivering engaging sales training programmes for new starters and experienced consultants
  • Supporting the development of salespeople across the full sales cycle from prospecting and discovery through to negotiation and closing
  • Coaching teams on call structure, questioning techniques, objection handling, relationship building
  • Listening to calls, analysing performance, and identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Turning top performer behaviours into clear frameworks, scripts, and best-practice sales playbooks
  • Running workshops, roleplays, and 1:1 coaching sessions that build confidence and capability
  • Supporting onboarding programmes to help new starters reach competency faster
  • Working with sales leaders to identify performance gaps and create targeted development plans
  • Using CRM and performance data to measure impact and continuously improve training effectiveness

What We’re Looking For:

  • A strong background in sales, ideally within outbound, B2B
  • Experience coaching, mentoring, or developing sales teams
  • A proven understanding of the full sales cycle and what great sales conversations look like
  • Strong knowledge of cold calling, discovery, objection handling, and closing techniques
  • The ability to break down successful sales behaviours into simple, repeatable methods
  • Confidence delivering engaging group training and individual coaching
  • A commercial mindset with the ability to use data and insights to improve performance
  • A passion for helping people grow, succeed, and achieve their goals
