Sales Trainer

Location: Brand New Glasgow Office – 4 days per week office, 1 day home/remote

About the Role

This hands-on Sales Trainer position is all about building on our Glasgow team’s momentum. Consistently delivering strong results, this role focuses on elevating team performance through targeted coaching, training, and accountability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing sales teams to ensure they are the best in the business by improving performance and sharpening skills.
  • Designing and delivering high-impact training sessions that enhance both new starter and experienced team capabilities.
  • Coaching sales professionals in real-time moments—call structure, objection handling, rapport-building, and closing techniques.
  • Analysing recorded calls to identify patterns and turning insights into actionable strategies.
  • Creating frameworks, such as scripts, talk tracks, and playbooks that align with high performers’ behaviours and drive results.
  • Leading engaging roleplays, workshops, and 1:1 coaching sessions to bolster confidence and capability.
  • Using data-driven insights to refine training, track performance, and continually improve outcomes.
  • Optimising onboarding to ensure new hires hit the ground running and achieve full competency quickly.

Requirements & Qualifications

We’re looking for a proven success story in the following areas:

  • Strong background in appointment setting, SDR (Sales Development Representative) roles, or outbound sales—you know the metrics and best practices because you’ve lived them.
  • Proven experience coaching or developing sales teams, with a genuine passion for helping others succeed.
  • Deep understanding of cold calling psychology and conversational selling techniques.
  • The ability to translate top-performer behaviour into structured, repeatable frameworks that others can easily adopt.
  • Confidence delivering both group training workshops and tailored 1:1 coaching, adapting your approach for different personalities and skill levels.
  • A data-driven mindset with experience using CRM systems and dialler platforms to assess performance and spot opportunities.
