Daniel Lee Recruitment is working with an exciting independent estate agency business in Chester looking to grow their team and employ a sales valuer. This is an ideal role for a senior negotiator looking for their next step or for a valuer looking to move to a company where they'll be rewarded for their hard work.
Role Description
The Sales Valuer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Chester. In this role, the Sales Valuer will carry out property valuations, provide expert advice to clients on market trends and pricing, and prepare accurate valuation reports. Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Engaging with prospective sellers
- Conducting property inspections
- Managing follow-up communications
- Supporting the sales process from valuation through to instruction

The Sales Valuer will collaborate closely with estate agency colleagues to maximize listing opportunities, maintain strong client relationships, and help drive revenue growth for the business.

Qualifications
- Strong estate agency background, with experience in residential property sales and working within Estate Agents environments.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain complex valuation concepts clearly and build rapport with diverse clients.
- Proven customer service skills, demonstrating a client-focused approach and the ability to manage expectations professionally.
- Technical expertise in Real Estate Appraisal and Valuation, with the ability to assess market conditions and produce accurate, evidence-based valuations.
- Strong negotiation and persuasion skills, with a track record of converting valuations into instructions.
- Solid local market knowledge of Chester and surrounding areas, or willingness to quickly develop this insight.
- Comfortable working to targets and managing a busy workload with attention to detail and time management.
- Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle for property visits.
- Previous experience in a Sales Valuer, Lister, or similar estate agency role is highly beneficial.
