Salesforce Functional Administrator

The Role
The Salesforce Functional Administrator ensures the platform supports critical business functions while working closely with teams across Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, and Operations. This hands-on role focuses on:
- Configuration and optimisation of Salesforce to align with business processes.
- User enablement and adoption through training and support.
- Translation of requirements into functional, user-friendly solutions.
This is not a heavy development role—proficiency in set-ups, flows, and formulae is key.
Key Accountabilities
- Ownership & Alignment
- Ensure Salesforce supports business objectives while acting as the primary functional owner.
- Configuration & Maintenance
- Design, develop, and maintain Salesforce features, including:
- Objects, fields, page layouts, and workflows.
- Flows, validation rules, reports, and dashboards.
- Uphold data quality standards and optimise system performance.
- Design, develop, and maintain Salesforce features, including:
- User Support & Adoption
- Provide ongoing training, troubleshooting, and guidance to stimulate user adoption.
- liaise with non-technical teams to gather and translate requirements into scalable configurations.
- Collaboration & innovation
- Partner with technical teams, vendors, and developers for advanced solutions or integrations.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and improvements to platform adoption.
- Process & Documentation
- Maintain clear records of all configurations, workflows, and best practices.

What We’re Looking For
- Experience :
- Minimum of 2 years as a Salesforce Administrator with a strong functional orientation (administration-focused, not exclusively development-driven).
- End-to-end process expertise, particularly in sales operations, revenue operations, or customer success.
- Skills & Attributes :
- Competency in building, running, and refining reports, dashboards, and analytics for business users.
- Clear communication and facilitation skills to work with non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong ability to organise, simplify, and document processes to improve usability.
- Preference for Salesforce Administrator certification (though not mandatory).
- Mindset :
- Commitment to a structured, detail-oriented approach driven by a culture of continuous improvement.
