Salesforce CRM Specialist Administrator

In this exciting role, you’ll join a fast-growing dynamic team in Oxford, tasked with the management, customisation, and maintenance of Aurora’s CRM system—directly impacting the efficiency of our client-facing teams. This opportunity is ideal for someone early in their career to build a strong foundation in CRM administration, with hands-on experience in stakeholder engagement, training, system development, and data management.

Key Responsibilities
System Administration
- Conduct onboarding and training sessions to ensure quick adoption of CRM processes for new users.
- Track user-led admin tasks to maintain system compliance and efficiency.
- Develop and organise a library of user reports and dashboards, supporting process improvements via data insights.
- Perform basic Salesforce configurations, including:
- Creation and updating of fields and page layouts.
- Customising workflows, reports, and dashboards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues reported by users to minimise disruption.
- Assist with testing and implementing new Salesforce features, updates, and releases.
- Ensure data integrity through imports, exports, and cleansing.

Ongoing User Training & Support
- Schedule and deliver regular training sessions, reinforcing best practices and introducing new features.
- Provide ongoing guidance to users navigating unfamiliar processes.
- Act as the primary support contact via a shared inbox, addressing queries and troubleshooting effectively.
Team Administration & Stakeholder Engagement
- Track and prioritise the Salesforce development pipeline, facilitating transparency.
- Keep stakeholders informed through regular progress updates, objectives, and system improvements.
- Collate and analyse user feedback, identifying recurring challenges and proposing enhancements to enhance the user experience.
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise
Required:
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in tools like Excel (data analysis, filters, pivot tables), Power BI, and Microsoft applications.
- Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel experience, including mastery of complex formulas (SUMIF/SUMIFS, COUNTIF/COUNTIFS, XLOOKUP).
- Ability to translate business needs into technical processes with minimal assistance.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) for documenting processes, training colleagues, and collaborating cross-functionally.
- Detail orientation guaranteeing accuracy in data and system management.
- Proactive problem-solving with a logical mindset and initiative to research solutions before escalation.
- Strong time management and prioritisation abilities to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable:
- Experience in internal training & support, including:
- Conducting training sessions.
- Creating user guides or technical documentation.
- Hands-on experience with databases, CRM systems, or operational processes.
- Advanced Excel proficiency, including formulas and data manipulation techniques.
