About The Job You're Considering
As a Salesforce AI Engineer, you'll design, build, and ship AI features on the Salesforce platform for some of the world's leading organisations. Working across industries including Consumer Goods, Utilities, Automotive, Telecommunications, and Financial Services, you'll spend most of your time hands-on, building autonomous agents, connecting large language models to enterprise data, and getting AI systems running reliably in production.
This is an engineering role, not a configuration one. As Salesforce grows into a serious AI platform, you'll be building with Agentforce, Einstein, Prompt Builder, Model Builder, and Data Cloud to create agents and AI-driven features that hold up under real workloads.
The work varies a lot. One day you might be designing an agent's reasoning and actions in Agentforce, the next writing Apex to ground a model in Salesforce data, tuning prompts and retrieval so answers stay accurate, or setting up evaluation harnesses to catch problems before they reach users.
Your Role
- Partner with Salesforce Functional Consultants, Solution Architects, and AI Specialists to design and deliver innovative Salesforce and AI-powered business solutions.
- Leverage Agentforce, Einstein AI, Prompt Builder, Model Builder, and Data Cloud to develop intelligent experiences, autonomous agents, and AI-augmented business processes.
- Act as a Salesforce and AI subject matter expert within the Digital Customer Experience (DCX) practice, helping shape our next-generation consulting capabilities and AI delivery methodologies.
- Design and develop scalable Salesforce solutions using a combination of declarative and programmatic technologies including Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flow, JavaScript, Platform Events, and APIs.
- Build AI-enabled solutions that combine customer, operational, and enterprise data to deliver personalised, predictive, and proactive business experiences.
- Integrate Salesforce with enterprise systems using MuleSoft, APIs, Event-Driven Architectures, and AppExchange solutions to create connected digital ecosystems.
- Utilise AI-assisted development tools and modern DevOps practices to accelerate delivery, increase quality, and improve developer productivity.
- Contribute to continuous innovation by evaluating emerging Salesforce AI capabilities and identifying opportunities to apply them across client engagements.
- Support Agile delivery teams and champion modern engineering practices using tools such as Gearset, Copado, Flosum, GitHub, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Engage directly with client stakeholders, helping them understand how AI, automation, and Salesforce technology can unlock measurable business value.
Why You?
You'll thrive at the intersection of technology, business consulting, and AI innovation.
Working alongside clients, you'll transform and develop ambitious business objectives into practical, scalable Salesforce solutions powered by automation, intelligence, and next-generation AI capabilities. You'll be expected not only to solve today's challenges but to help clients prepare for an increasingly autonomous, AI-driven future.
Whether you're designing Agentforce agents, building enterprise-grade Salesforce applications, integrating Data Cloud, or advising executives on AI adoption, you'll become a trusted advisor capable of translating complex technology into meaningful business outcomes.
Most importantly, you'll help shape the future role of the Salesforce consultant—leveraging AI to move beyond configuration and development into strategic solution design, innovation, and business transformation.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
