Salesforce Solution Architect
12-Month Contract | £700 Per Day (Inside IR35) | West London | 3 Days Onsite | ASAP Start
Are you a highly experienced Salesforce Solution Architect looking to play a key role in a major enterprise transformation programme? Our client is seeking a seasoned architect with deep expertise across Salesforce Service Cloud, Agentforce, and Salesforce Data Cloud to lead the design and delivery of scalable, secure, and innovative Salesforce solutions.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-profile programme where you will shape technology strategy, influence stakeholders at all levels, and drive the successful implementation of next-generation Salesforce capabilities.
The Role
As the Salesforce Solution Architect, you will take ownership of the end-to-end solution architecture across the Salesforce ecosystem, ensuring solutions are aligned with business objectives, enterprise standards, and future growth requirements.
Working closely with business stakeholders, delivery teams, enterprise architects, technical leads, and developers, you will provide architectural leadership across multiple workstreams and act as the key authority for Salesforce solution design and governance.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end solution architecture for Salesforce implementations across Service Cloud, Agentforce, and Data Cloud
- Translate complex business requirements into scalable, sustainable Salesforce solutions
- Produce high-level solution designs covering application architecture, integrations, security, data strategy, and implementation approach
- Design and govern Agentforce solutions, including AI agents, prompts, actions, orchestration, automation, and enterprise integrations
- Define and manage Salesforce Data Cloud architecture, including: data ingestion and streaming; identity resolution; customer data unification; segmentation and activation; real-time customer engagement strategies
- Architect robust Service Cloud solutions including: Case Management; Omni-Channel Routing; Knowledge Management; Entitlements & Milestones; Service Console; Customer Service Automation
- Define enterprise integration architectures using APIs, middleware, platform events, REST/SOAP services, and event-driven patterns
- Establish and govern Salesforce security models, data visibility, sharing strategies, permissions, and compliance requirements
- Lead architecture reviews, design workshops, and technical governance forums
- Identify architectural risks, dependencies, and platform limitations, providing mitigation strategies and recommendations
- Support roadmap planning, estimation activities, and technology strategy initiatives
- Mentor technical teams and promote Salesforce architecture best practices across the organisation

Skills & Experience Required
Essential
- Proven experience as a Salesforce Solution Architect, Salesforce Technical Architect, or Senior Salesforce Architect
- 12+ years of overall Salesforce experience
- Deep understanding of Salesforce platform architecture and enterprise solution design
- Strong hands-on experience with Agentforce, including AI agents, prompt configuration, automation, orchestration, and Salesforce AI capabilities
- Extensive experience with Salesforce Data Cloud, including identity resolution, customer unification, segmentation, activation, and customer data strategies
- Strong expertise in Salesforce Service Cloud including Case Management, Omni-Channel, Knowledge, Entitlements, Milestones, and Service Console
- Expertise in Salesforce architecture patterns, scalability considerations, and platform governance
- Strong knowledge of Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, Salesforce APIs, and platform development concepts
- Experience designing enterprise integration solutions using API-led and event-driven architectures
- Deep understanding of Salesforce security architecture, sharing models, permission frameworks, and compliance requirements
- Experience with CI/CD, Salesforce DX, GitHub, DevOps processes, and release management
- Excellent stakeholder management, workshop facilitation, and communication skills
- Experience working within Agile delivery environments and large-scale enterprise transformation programmes
