Role: Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) Consultant
Contract Type: Contract / Freelance
Location: London (Hybrid) / Remote
Duration: Initial 3–6 Months (Extension Possible)

About the Role
AbsoluteLabs is looking for an experienced Salesforce Commerce Cloud Consultant to support ongoing and upcoming digital commerce transformation initiatives.
This is a client-facing contract role requiring strong expertise in Salesforce Commerce Cloud (B2C Commerce), eCommerce architecture, and omnichannel retail solutions. The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, architects, developers, and delivery teams to design and implement scalable commerce solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Discovery & Solution Design
- Lead workshops and discovery sessions with business stakeholders.
- Gather and document business, functional, and technical requirements.
- Define scalable Salesforce Commerce Cloud solutions aligned with business objectives.
- Support solution architecture and technical design activities.

Implementation & Delivery
- Deliver Salesforce Commerce Cloud implementation and enhancement projects.
- Configure and support SFCC functionality across the customer journey.
- Work closely with developers to ensure successful solution delivery.
- Support integrations with external platforms and enterprise systems.
Commerce & Retail Expertise
- Design and optimise eCommerce experiences including:
- Product Discovery
- Checkout & Payments
- Promotions & Pricing
- Customer Accounts
- Order Management
- Omnichannel Fulfilment
- Loyalty & Personalisation
Stakeholder Management
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients and project teams.
- Facilitate workshops and solution reviews.
- Communicate project progress, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders.

Testing & Go-Live
- Support SIT, UAT, and production deployment activities.
- Assist with issue resolution, defect management, and post-launch support.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong experience implementing Salesforce Commerce Cloud (B2C Commerce).
- Proven track record delivering eCommerce transformation programmes.
- Experience working with retail, fashion, luxury, FMCG, or consumer brands.
- Strong understanding of:
- SFRA
- OCAPI / SCAPI
- Storefront architecture
- Catalog & Product Management
- Promotions & Campaigns
- Search & Merchandising
- Experience integrating SFCC with:
- OMS
- CRM
- ERP
- Payment Gateways
- PIM Platforms
- Loyalty Platforms
- Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills.
- Experience working within Agile delivery environments.
